Asus has finally launched Asus ZenFone 6 officially in an event held in Spain. The ZenFone 6 is an upgrade variant of Asus ZenFone 5Z launched last year. The Asus ZenFone 6 is first smartphone of the company to come with rotating or flip camera. Because of flip camera the ZenFone 6 has very thin bezels and all-screen front panel. The ZenFone 6 features a dual rear camera setup which rotates to take selfies. The Samsung was also launched a smartphone like this but in this article we’ll be comparing this smartphone with OnePlus 7 Pro which is recently launched. Both phones performe almost same. Asus ZenFone 6 vs OnePlus 7 Pro Display and Design

First of all talk about display and design, the Asus ZenFone 6 features a 100.5 cm (6.4 inch) IPS LCD display with a full HD plus resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The display of Asus ZenFone 6 features 83.8% screen-to-body ratio and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Its display comes with protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and supports HDR10. It also features a glass made back panel with protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and a rear fingerprint scanner. Below the fingerprint scanner it has ASUS logo. It has a dual rear camera setup with LED flash which also works as selfie camera. Its dimensions are 159.1 x 75.4 x 9.2 mm and weight 190g.

Now talk about OnePlus 7 Pro, it features a 108.8 cm (6.67 inches) Fluid AMOLED 90Hz display which has a resolution of 1440×3120 pixels, 88.1% screen-to-body ratio and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Its display also comes with protection of Corning Gorilla Glass and supports HDR10+. It also features a glass made back panel and its back panel has triple rear camera setup with LED flash and a OnePlus logo. It features an in-display fingerprint scanner instead of rear fingerprint scanner. Its dimensions are 162.6 x 75.9 x 8.8 mm and weight 206g.

In terms of display the winner is OnePlus 7 Pro, because it provides a bigger display, screen resolution and screen-to-body. Also it features AMOLED display, and under-display fingerprint scanner.

Now speaking of performance, the Asus ZenFone 6 works on Android 9 Pie based ZenUI 6 out-of-the-box. The company also claims to provide Android Q in future in this device. To powering the phone the company has provided latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (7nm) octa-core (1×2.84 GHz Kryo 485 & 3×2.41 GHz Kryo 485 & 4×1.78 GHz Kryo 485) chipset processor. For Graphich it has Adreno 640 CPU integrated.

For multitasking the Asus ZenFone 6 features 3 variants of RAM and storage – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. It also has a dedicated SD card slot to expand its storage up to 1TB.

To give power to the ZenFone 6 the company has provided a 5,000 mAh battery in it with 18W fast charger in the box and it supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0. To charge this battery it has a USB Type-C port. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Now talk about OnePlus 7 Pro, it works on Android 9 Pie based OxygenOS 9 uot-of-the-box. It also works on Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855 (7 nm) octa-core (1×2.84 GHz Kryo 485 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4×1.80 GHz Kryo 485) chipset processor and for Graphics it packs Adreno 640 GPU.

The OnePlus 7 Pro features 3 variants of RAM and storage – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. It doesn’t have any microSD card slot to expand its storage. To powering the OnePlus 7 Pro, it features a 4,000 mAh Non-removable battery with 30W fast charger or Warp charger in the box. To charge this battery it also has a USB Type-C port. It doesn’t features any headphone jack

In terms of performance both phones are almost same, because the Asus ZenFone 6 features a bigger battery of 5,000 mAh while the OnePlus 7 Pro features bigger RAM option of 12GB. In terms of RAM and storage the OnePlus 7 Pro wins because it features bigger RAM and storage option.

Now talk about the camera of Asus ZenFone 6, it features a dual rear camera setup on the back panel which unique design. Before it, the Samsung was also given this type camera feature in Samsung Galaxy A80. But there is some difference in both designs. Because the camera of Samsung Galaxy pops up and rotates to take selfie, while the camera of Asus ZenFone 6 flips up to take selfie. Its primary camera has a 48 megapixels SONY IMX586 sensor and f/1.8 aperture. At the same time it has a 13 megapixels secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Its rear camera works as selfie camer so it doesn’t have and camera on the front panel.

Speaking of camera of OnePlus 7 Pro, it features a triple rear camera setup with LED flash on the back panel. Its primary sensor is 48 Megapixel which has an aperture of f/1.6, at the same time its secondary sensor is 16 Megapixels ultra-wide sensor which has an aperture of f/2.2. Its third sensor is 8 Megapixels which has an aperture of f/2.4. For selfies and video calling it features a 16 Megapixels pop-up selfie camera which has an aperture of f/2.0.

In terms of rear camera the OnePlus 7 Pro wins, because it features a triple rear camera including 48 + 16 + 8 MP sensors. But the Asus ZenFone 6 has a unique camera design and it wins in terms of selfie camera because its rear camera works to take selfies which has 48 + 13 MP dual camera.

Now talk about the price of Asus ZenFone 6, it features 3 options of RAM and storage – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Its base variant which has 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, costs EUR 499 almost Rs. 39,100, while the price of its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is EUR 559 almost 43,800 Rupees. The price of its top-end variant which has 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, is EUR 599 almost 47,000 Rupees. The company has not provided any official information regarding its launching in India.

Speaking of price of OnePlus 7 Pro, it also features 3 options of RAM and storage – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. Its base variant which has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, costs Rs. 48,999, while the price of its 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is 52,999 Rupees. At the same time its 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs 57,999 Rupees.
