Snapdragon 730G also a mid-range chipset launched recently by Qualcomm. With this chipset, Qualcomm also introduced Snapdragon 665 and Snapdragon 730 processors. Kirin 810 vs Snapdragon 730G CPU & GPU


Starting with the CPU of HiSilicon Kirin 810, it has a 64-bit octa-core CPU which includes 2 ARM’s Cortex-A76 powerful cores clocked at 2.27GHz and other 6 Cortex-A55 efficiency cores running at 1.88GHz. While on the other side, Snapdragon 730G also ships with 64-bit octa-core CPU having Kryo 470 CPU cores. Its Kryo 470 CPU cores include 2 ARM Cortex-A76 Gold cores running at 2.20GHz clock speed and other 6 Cortex-A55 Silver cores operating at 1.80GHz clock speed.

Here in terms of CPU, the Kirin 810 is a better processor than Snapdragon 730G having higher CPU frequency of first 2 Cortex-A76 cores and other 6 Cortex-A55 cores. Also on Geekbench, HiSilicon Kirin 810 scored 11% better in single-core and 13% better in multi-core compared to Snapdragon 730.

Fabrication Process

Talking about their manufacturing process, then the Kirin 810 is fabricated on the 7nm manufacturing process like the flagship processor while Snapdragon 730G is built using the 8nm manufacturing process. Although both are mid-range processors. Here the Kirin 810 is a more power-efficient chipset than Snapdragon 730G having a better manufacturing process.

Speaking of HiSilicon Kirin 810, it is capable to support Quad or 4-Channel LPDDR4X RAM up to 8GB. While Snapdragon 730G is capable to support Dual-Channel LPDDR4X RAM up to 8GB clocked at 1866MHz.

In terms of storage, Snapdragon 730G can support UFS 2.1 & eMMC 5.1 based storage while the Kirin 810 also supports UFS 2.1 & eMMC 5.1 based storage.


In this case, the Kirin 810 can support a maximum display resolution of 2340×1080 pixels while the Snapdragon 730G can support up to Quad HD+ displays with a maximum resolution of 3360×1440 pixels.

Kirin 810 vs Snapdragon 730G Artificial Intelligence

Here the Kirin 810 is the world’s first mid-range chipset having a dedicated calculation area for AI tasks. It features a dedicated NPU that works on the company’s new DaVinci architecture. The AI benchmarks the Kirin 810 outperformed over flagship processors like Snapdragon 855, MediaTek Helio P90 and Kirin 980 too.

On the other side, Snapdragon 730G has Qualcomm Hexagon 688 DSP coupled with Qualcomm Hexagon Vector eXtensions and Qualcomm All-Ways Aware technology. In the connectivity section, the Kirin 810 is capable to deliver a download speed of up to 1.4Gbps using LTE Cat.21 and maximum uploading speed of up 200Mbps using LTE Cat.18. It also supports other features like Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, NFC and GPS.
