Xiaomi has introduced its new Redmi K series in India by launching two new smartphones Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20. Talking about Redmi K20, it is world’s fastest smartphone according to company’s claims. This smartphone is paried with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage as well as 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The initial price of Redmi K20 Pro is Rs. 27,999 while its high-end variant costs Rs. 30,999.

At the same time speaking of Redmi K20, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset and 6GB RAM + 64GB Storage as well as 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage. Apart from processor, RAM and storage other all features of both smartphones are same. Both smartphones are affordable flagships with influential hardware at an affordable price. Speaking of Redmi K20, specification wise it can get a competition from Realme X, recently launched smartphone by Realme. The Redmi K20 works on Android 9.0 Pie based MIUI 10. It is paired with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Octa-Core chipset and 6GB of RAM. With 6GB RAM it offers 128GB storage. To expand the storage, it doesn’t feature any SD card slot.

To give power to the phone it got a 4,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charger in the box. It got a Type-C port to charge this battery and data transfering.

At the same time, the Realme X works on Android 9 Pie based Color OS 6. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Octa-Core chipset and 4GB RAM or 6GB RAM. With 4GB RAM you get 128GB storage while with 8GB RAM you also get 128GB storage. It also doesn’t feature any SD card slot to expand the storage.

Here in the Realme X, you get 3765 mAh battery with 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charger in the box. It also has a Type-C port to charge its battery.

In this case of performance, the Redmi K20 wins having better chipset and bigger battery. While the Realme X offers 8GB RAM variant also.

Redmi K20 vs Realme X Camera

Moving on camera department, the Redmi K20 feautres a triple rear camera setup on the back panel with features such as Dual-LED flash, HDR and panorama. Its rear camera setup includes a 48MP primary wide sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP secondary telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 13MP ultrawide sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calling it features a 20MP motorized pop-up selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.

On other side, the Realme X features a dual rear camera setup on the back panel with LED flash which includes a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Speaking of price of Redmi K20, it has 2 variants based on RAM and storage – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The price of its 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is Rs. 21,999 while its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is Rs. 23,999.

At the same time the price of 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of Realme X is Rs. 16,999 while its 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs Rs. 19.999.

Now come on conclusion, at a higher price of Rs. 21,999, the Redmi K20 has stronger features such better processor, better front and rear camera, better design and bigger battery. If you can compromize with these strongest features then you can go with Realme X at a lower price of Rs. 19,999 where it features a better display and 8GB of RAM.
