Snapdragon 675 vs Exynos 9610 CPU & GPU

First of all talk about their CPUs, here Snapdragon 675 has a 64-bit based Kryo 460 CPU cores. The Kryo 460 CPU cores include eight-cores which have 2 Cortex-A76 powerful cores clocked at 2.02GHz while other 6 Cortex-A55 efficiency cores running with a maximum speed of 1.8GHz. While Exynos 9610 also has CPU based on 64-bit memory architecture having eight(4 + 4) CPU cores. It features 4 Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and other 4 Cortex-A53 cores operating at 1.6GHz of clock speed. So in the case of CPU, Snapdragon 675 is quite a better processor than Exynos 9610. It features the latest CPU cores while Exynos 9610 using older CPU cores.

In the GPU section, Snapdragon 675 has the company’s Adreno 612 GPU which is perfectly suitable for mid-range smartphones, while the Exynos 9610 has the ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. So in terms of GPU, also Snapdragon 675 is better than Exynos 9610. It can handle gaming and other graphical tasks smoothly than Exynos 9610.

Manufacturing Process

Speaking of Snapdragon 675, then it is manufactured using the 11nm fabrication process while its previous version Snapdragon 660 was built using the 14nm manufacturing process. On the other side, Exynos 9610 works on the company’s 10nm FinFET Process. So in this section, the Exynos 9610 is better than Snapdragon 675. It is a more power-efficient chipset compared to Snapdragon 675.

Snapdragon 675 vs Exynos 9610 Other Features

In the camera department, Snapdragon 675 got Qualcomm Spectra 250L image signal processor which is a 14-bit dual ISP and using this ISP, it can support 16MP + 16MP dual-camera at 30fps with MFNR & ZSL and single camera up to 25MP at 30fps with MFNR & ZSL. With MFNR only it is capable to support up to 48MP single camera sensor and up to 192MP single camera without MFNR & ZSL.

At the same time, Exynos 9610 brings support for a 24MP single camera and dual camera up to 16MP + 16MP. So, here again, Snapdragon 675 wins having better single camera support.

RAM & Storage

In terms of RAM, the Exynos 9610 can supports the quad of 4-channel LPDDR4X RAM up to 6GB with a maximum speed of 1600MHz while Snapdragon 675 supports 2 or dual-channel LPDDR4X RAM up to 8GB at 1866MHz.

While, in the case of storage, Exynos 9610 can support UFS 2.1 & eMMC 5.1 based storage while Snapdragon 675 also supports UFS 2.1 & eMMC 5.1 types of storage.

In this case, Snapdragon 675 can support up to FHD+(2520×1080) displays while Exynos 9610 supports WQXGA with a maximum resolution of 2560×1600 pixels.
