Snapdragon 712 vs Exynos 9609 CPU & GPU
Speaking of CPU of Snapdragon 712, it has an octa-core CPU based on 64-bit architecture and this is the company’s custom Kryo 360 CPU. Explaining the Kryo 360 CPU, it houses 2 ARM Cortex-A75 Gold high-performance cores clocked at 2.3GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 Silver high-efficiency cores operating at 1.7GHz. On the other side, Exynos 9609 also features an eight-core CPU based on 64-bit architecture including 2 ARM Cortex-A73 powerful cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 4 Cortex-A53 little cores running at 1.6GHz clock speed.

Connectivity-wise, Snapdragon 712 features the Snapdragon X15 LTE Modem which delivers a maximum downloading speed of 800Mbps using LTE Cat.15 and an uploading speed of up to 150Mbps using LTE Cat.13. Other features like Dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, USB 3.1, USB-C and Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ technology for fast charging are also included in this chipset.
On the other side, Exynos 9609 can go up to 600Mbps in downloading using LTE Cat.12 and in uploading it can go up to 150Mbps using LTE Cat.13. It also supports features such as Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo.
Snapdragon 712 vs Exynos 9609 Other Features
Coming to the camera department where Snapdragon 712 ships with Spectra 250 image signal processor which is a 14 bit dual ISP and supports a dual camera up to 20MP with MFNR & ZSL at 30fps and single camera up to 32MP with MFNR + ZSL at 30fps also. Without ZSL it can go up to 48MP and without MFNR & ZSL it is capable to support up to 192MP single camera sensor.

In this case, the Exynos 9609 can support LPDDR4X RAM up to 8GB and UFS 2.1 & eMMC 5.1 based storage. While on the other side, Snapdragon 712 supports 16-bit Dual-Channel LPDDR4X RAM up to 8GB operating at 1866MHz. In the case of storage, it supports storage types of UFS 2.1 & eMMC 5.1.
In the case of display, Snapdragon 712 has support for up to Quad HD+ HDR10 displays with a maximum resolution of 3360×1440 pixels while the Exynos 9609 supports WQXGA displays with a maximum resolution of 2560×1600 pixels.
