These days Huawei is busy in developing Android alternatives. Because of Huawei ban in US the companies like Google, Qualcomm, Intel and many more are ending the relationship with Huawei. Speaking of mobile platforms, almost all the chipsets available uses CPU cores of ARM. While the ARM Technologies is a company of US and it denies to work with Huawei in order of Trump. Huawei uses CPU Cores of ARM in its HiSilicon CPUs. Because of Huawei ban in US new launches of HiSilicon chipset could be delayed.
Recently Huawei announced its new Kirin 810 chipset – a mid-range chip based on 7nm manufacturing arkitecture like the flagship Kirin 980. The Kirin 810 is a chipset to come with manufacturing process whereas the Qualcomm offers at 8nm process. Here we’ll tell you top features of Kirin 810 chipset. Let’s tell you about it…
HiSilicon Kirin 810 Top Features
CPU & GPU
The Kirin 810 has an octa-core CPU and a Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. The CPU offers two high-performance ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.27GHz and six smaller ARM Cortex-A55 cores ticking at 1.88GHz.
Better Performance than Downgrade varient
Speaking of GPU, Huawei promised to providing around 162% better performance than its last generation Kirin 710.
Better CPU than competitor
According to company’s claims the Kirin 810 has 11% better single-core and 13% better multi-core performance Compared to its competitor Qualcomm Snapdragon 730. These are details of the CPU and GPU of Kirin 810.
Better GPU than competitor
The Mali-G52 MP6 performs with up to 44% higher frame rates compared to Adreno 618 of Snapdragon 730.
The most hilighting feature of Kirin 810 chipset is its NPU. The Kirin 810 has a hidden feature DaVinci NPU based on the Rubik’s Cube Quantitative Stereo Arithmetic Unit capable of outperforming the Snapdragon 855 and MediaTek Helio P90 in AI-related tasks.
More Power Efficient
The HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC works on 7 manufacturing process means it is more power efficient.
