The Kirin 810 has an octa-core CPU and a Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. The CPU offers two high-performance ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.27GHz and six smaller ARM Cortex-A55 cores ticking at 1.88GHz.

Speaking of GPU, Huawei promised to providing around 162% better performance than its last generation Kirin 710.

According to company’s claims the Kirin 810 has 11% better single-core and 13% better multi-core performance Compared to its competitor Qualcomm Snapdragon 730. These are details of the CPU and GPU of Kirin 810.

The Mali-G52 MP6 performs with up to 44% higher frame rates compared to Adreno 618 of Snapdragon 730.

The most hilighting feature of Kirin 810 chipset is its NPU. The Kirin 810 has a hidden feature DaVinci NPU based on the Rubik’s Cube Quantitative Stereo Arithmetic Unit capable of outperforming the Snapdragon 855 and MediaTek Helio P90 in AI-related tasks.
