The Chinese smartphone and chip-maker company Huawei has recently announced its Nova 5 series. With this series tha company has also announced new Kirin 810 chipset for mid-range devices. This chip is based on 7nm manufacturing arkitecture like the flagship Kirin 980. The Kirin 810 is a chipset to come with 7nm manufacturing process whereas the Qualcomm offers at 8nm. The Huawei Nova 5 got 2,37,000 points at AnTuTu Benchmark scores which is 13% better as compared to Snapdragon 730. The Kirin 810 features an octa-core CPU and a Mali-G52 MP6 GPU. The CPU offers two high-performance ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.27GHz and six smaller ARM Cortex-A55 cores ticking at 1.88GHz. The Mali-G52 MP6 GPU runs on up to 850MHz.

The Snapdragon 730 houses Kryo 470 octe-core AIE CPU and Adreno 618 GPU. It features 2 x A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and other 6 x A55 clocked at 1.8GHz. clocked on 2.2GHz. It is a 64-bit CPU and works on 8nm manufacturing process. The Adreno 618 GPU runs on up to 825MHz.

According to claims of Huawei, the Kirin 810 has 11% better single-core and 13% better multi-core performance Compared to its competitor Qualcomm Snapdragon 730.

The Mali-G52 MP6 performs with up to 44% higher frame rates compared to Adreno 618 of Snapdragon 730.

The HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC works on 7 manufacturing process means it is more power efficient compared to Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset.

The HiSilicon Kirin 810 chipset has DaVinci NPU and its AI Benchmark score is 32280 while the Snapdragon 730 feautres NPU 120 and its AI Benchmark score is 14025 which is quite less than Kirin 810. AI Capabilities are much better of Kirin 810 than Snapdragon 730.
