Snapdragon 710 vs Helio P65 CPU & GPU
Starting with CPU, here MediaTek Helio P65 features an eight-core CPU based on 64-bit memory architecture. Its octa-core CPU includes 2 Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0Ghz while other 6 Cortex-A55 cores also running at 2.0GHz clock speed.
On the other hand, Snapdragon 710 also features a 64-bit octa-core CPU which includes Kryo 360 CPU cores. The Kryo 360 CPU cores include 2 Cortex-A75 cores running at 2.0GHz while other 6 Cortex-A55 cores operating at 1.8GHz. Here in terms of CPU, the Helio P65 is better processor than Snapdragon 710 having a higher frequency of 6 Cortex-A55 cores while the 2 Cortex-A75 cores have the same frequency in both chipsets.
Moving to the GPU section, here the newer Helio P65 ships with Arm Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU having a maximum frequency of 820MHz. While Snapdragon 710 is coupled with Adreno 616 GPU. Here the GPU of Snapdragon 710 is better compared to the GPU of Helio P65. So in terms of gaming or other graphical tasks, Snapdragon 710 will perform better than Helio P65.
Talking about their manufacturing process, here the Helio P65 is still build using the 12nm manufacturing process like other mid-range chipsets of MediaTek. Don’t know why is the company still using this process technology while other companies are using the 7-10nm process technology to build their SoC. On the other side Snapdragon 710 works on the 10nm manufacturing process which is much better than Helio P65. So in power efficiency Snapdragon 710 is better compared to Helio P65.

Speaking of their camera department, here the Helio P65 got support for a 48MP single camera sensor considering the trend of this sensor. The use of a 48MP camera sensor is going on a huge so the company provided the support for this sensor in its chipset. In the case of dual camera, it is capable to support up to 16MP + 16MP dual camera sensors.
On the other hand, Snapdragon 710 has the company’s Spectra 250 Image Signal Processor which is a 14-bit dual ISP. Using this ISP is can support up to 16MP dual camera and single camera up to 25MP at 30fps with MFNR & ZSL. With MFNR only, it can support up to 48MP single camera and up to 192MP without MFNR and ZSL.
RAM & Storage
In this case, MediaTek Helio P65 can support LPDDR3 RAM up to 4GB at 933MHz and LPDDR4X RAM up to 8GB at 1800MHz. While Snapdragon 710 supports LPDDR4X RAM up to 8GB at 1866MHz.
In terms of storage, the Helio P65 supports eMMC 5.1 based storage while Snapdragon 710 can support storage type of UFS2.1 and EMMC5.1.
In this section, the Helio P65 got support for maximum display resolution up to 2520 x 1080 pixels while Snapdragon 710 can support up to Quad HD+ displays with resolution up to 3360×1440 with HDR10.
Connectivity Features Comparison
In this section, the Helio P65 uses LTE Cat.7 to capture a maximum download speed of 600Mbps and upload speed up to 150Mbps using LTE Cat.13.
At the same time, Snapdragon 710 has the company’s Snapdragon X15 LTE which uses LTE Cat.15 to providing a maximum download speed of 800Mbps and upload speed up to 150Mbps using LTE Cat.13.
