If you are a fan of the smartphones of OPPO and Xiaomi then you will be pleased to know that both of these companies are working on under-display front camera technology. OPPO has shared a video of its under-display smartphone with its official Twitter handle. Many companies have introduced selfie cameras such pop-up camera smartphones, slider cameras and mechanicals such as rotational cameras. These two Chinese companies are now working on under-display camera mechanisms.
Last year, we have seen many of the original Equipment Manufactures working on new technology. Honor launched Honor View 20, the first smartphone with punch hole display in the beginning of this year. After this, smartphones with pop-up cameras like Vivo V15 Pro, OnePlus 7 Pro, Oppo F11 Pro were launched. At the same time, the Samsung Galaxy A80 found with a special type of flip rotational camera. After this, the rotation camera was also seen in the smartphone Asus Zenfone 6 that was launched in last days.

Oppo In-Display Camera Phone
Oppo wrote in a tweet from its official Twitter handle, “those who are looking for the perfect look-less smartphone are ready to be shocked. For the first time you are looking at under-display camera technology.” Oppo Vice President Brian shared the same video on the Chinese microblogging website, Weibo. Brian has also written in his post that the under-display camera probably could not get such a better image quality. It is not clear that which display will be used in smartphones with this under-display camera right now.
Oppo’s main rival, Xiaomi, could also use the under display in its next flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 9. Xiaomi’s Chief Executive Officer Lin Bin also shared the prototype of the smartphone with its under-display camera on the Chinese microblogging website weibo.
