The Chinese smartphone maker company Realme has recently officially launched its new device Realme X and Realme X Lite. These smartphones are only launched in China only. In India the Realme X will be launched soon. The Realme X Lite is already available in India with the name of Realme 2 Pro. The Realme X features in-display fingerprint scanner with AMOLED display, pop-up selfie camera with dual rear camera and Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset processor. In this article we’ll be comparing the Realme X and Vivo V15 Pro. Although, there is a big difference between their prices but specifications of both phones are almost same. Realme X vs Vivo V15 Pro Display and Design

First of all talk about the display of Realme X, it features a 105.2cm (6.53 inches) full HD plus AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, aspect ration of 19.5:9 and 85.9% screen-to-body ratio. The display of Realme X comes with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. To increase the screen-to-body ratio the company has given a pop-up selfie camera in the device. Now speaking of display and design of Vivo V15 Pro, it features a 6.39 inches full HD plus super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2316 pixels, aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and 84.2% screen-to-body ratio. The Vivo V15 Pro also features an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the rear panel it has a triple rear camera setup with LED flash. Its body is also made of plastic or polycarbonate.

The Realme X has slightly bigger display and the Vivo V15 Pro has a super AMOLED display instead of AMOLED display.

Speaking of performance of Realme X, it works on Android 9 Pie based ColorOS 6 out-of-the-box. For speed and processing it packs a 11nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octe-core (2×2.2 GHz Kryo 360 Gold & 6×1.7 GHz Kryo 360 Silver) chipset processor. For Graphics the Realme X has Adreno 616 GPU.

For multitasking the Realme X has 3 options of RAM – 4GB, 6GB and 8GB. The 4GB variant has 64GB storage, 6GB RAM variant also comes with 64GB storage and 8GB RAM variant comes with 128GB storage. Also it has a dedicated SD card slot to expand the storage up to 512GB.

To powering the phone the company has provided a 3765 mAh battery with 20W VOOC charger 3.0 in the box. The phone charges from 0-100% in 120 minutes.

Talking about performance of Vivo V15 Pro, it works on Android 9 Pie based FunTouch OS 9 out-of-the-box. For speed and processing the packs 11nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core (2×2.0 GHz Kryo 460 Gold & 6×1.7 GHz Kryo 460 Silver) chipset processor. For Graphics the Vivo V15 Pro has Adreno 612 GPU.

For multitasking the Vivo V15 Pro has only one option of RAM which is 6GB. To store files it has 64GB internal storage. It also has a dedicated SD card slot to expand the storage.

To powering the Vivo V15 Pro, the company has provided 3700 mAh battery with 18W fast charger in the box. The phone charges 24% in 15 min.

In terms of performance the Realme X is slightly better than Vivo V15 Pro. It features Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC and Adreno 616 GPU. This processor is power efficient processor also. Also its battery is slightly bigger than Vivo V15 Pro.

Realme X vs Vivo V15 Pro Camera

Talk about the camera of Realme X, it features a dual rear camera setup on the back panel with LED flash. Its primary sensor is 48 Megapixel Sony IMX586. Its aperture is f/1.7. While is secondary sensor is 5 Megapixel depth sensor which has an aperture of f/2.4. For selfies and video calling the Realme X features a 16 Megapixels pop-up selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. It pops-up to take selfie and during video calling.

Now speaking of camera of Vivo V15 Pro, it features a triple rear camera setup on the back panel with LED flash. Its primary sensor is 48 Megapixel Sony IMX586. Its aperture is f/1.8 and second is 8 Megapixels ultra-wide sensor which has an aperture of f/2.2. Its third sensor is 5 Megapixels depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calling it also has a pop-up selfie camera which has a 32 Megapixels sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

In terms of camera the Vivo V15 Pro is clear winner because it has a triple rear camera setup which includes 48 + 8 + 5 Megapixel sensors. Its selfie camera is also better than Realme X’s selfie camera. It has a 32 Megapixels selfie camera instead of 16 Megapixels camera.

Realme X vs Vivo V15 Pro Price

Now speaking of price of Realme X, it is only launched in China only still now. It has three options of RAM – 4GB, 6GB and 8GB. The price of its 4GB + 64GB storage variant is 1,499 Chinese Yuan almost Rs. 15,000. At the same time its 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant costs 1,599 Chinese Youa almost 16,000 Indian Rupees, while the price of its 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is 1,799 Chinese Yuan almost 18,000 Indian Rupees.

The Vivo V15 Pro one option for RAM and storage that is 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and it costs Rs. 26,660.

If you are a fan of Vivo then you can go with Vivo V15 Pro and if you want a value for money device then the Realme X will be a better option for you because it features many best features at a low price. The Vivo V15 Pro has a better camera only. At the same time the Realme X has better chipset, CPU, more RAM and storage options, bigger battery with VOOC charging 3.0 support and many more things in a economical price.
